We are proud to announce the inauguration of the Medium Voltage Power Plant Simulator for the FREMM Bergamini-class units at the Naval Aviation Training Center (MARICENTADD) in Taranto, in the presence of representatives from Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, Fincantieri Nextech, and the Navy.
This important milestone, achieved within the framework of the TLSM (Through Life Sustainment Management) contract, for which OSN is the Prime Contractor, represents a tangible advancement in the technical training process of crews and therefore in the operational readiness of naval forces.
Through the implementation of this simulation system, sailors, ratings, non-commissioned officers, and officers will be trained to operate under various possible configurations (normal or degraded conditions) of the electrical power generation and distribution system, in complete safety for both personnel and equipment.
The integration of this new simulator within the ship systems service of the Naval Aviation Training Center (MARICENTADD) further strengthens the synergy between industry and the Navy, ensuring greater operational readiness and strategic support to the fleet.
