The first steel-cutting ceremony for the second new-generation Patrol Vessel (PPX) took place at the Riva Trigoso shipyard, as part of the Italian Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel program.
This event marks the official start of the construction phase and represents another significant industrial milestone.
We are proud that Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, as Prime Contractor of the PPX program, is leading this effort alongside the Italian Navy and the national industry, contributing to innovation and the growth of the naval sector.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for April 2028.
