In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the planning and control activities of the Program in terms of Integrated Program Planning
- Coordinating the suppliers' planning and control activities
- Supporting the planning processes related to the delivery of deliverables and milestone achievement, as well as monitoring and controlling progress in accordance with contractual obligations
- Coordinating supplier deliveries (deliverables and milestones) in compliance with contractual requirements and the Integrated Program Plan
- Supporting the calculation of progress metrics and contract performance indicators
- Supporting supplier progress evaluation
- Supporting activities related to the potential exercise of optional lots by the Customer
- Participating in or providing input for meetings with Customers and/or Suppliers
The selected candidate will also take on the role of Program Site Manager at the local unit in Taranto.
As Program Site Manager, and in support of the Program Manager, the resource will ensure operational coordination on-site on behalf of OSN towards the Customer, overseeing the delivery of contracted supplies/services at the Customer’s site, interfacing with the relevant authorities, other OSN company functions involved, and on-site supplier representatives.
Responsibilities in the role of Program Site Manager include:
- Operational coordination of industrial needs on-site
- Interfacing with the relevant authorities to manage operational issues
- Proper coordination/interface with on-site supplier representatives to ensure smooth execution of activities
- Supporting visual inspection activities of incoming materials
- Monitoring local progress in line with the Integrated Program Plan agreed with the Customer
- Ensuring timely execution of on-site activities, regular coordination with the OSN team to track progress, reporting issues, and agreeing on their management and resolution
- Participating in or contributing to meetings with Customers and/or Suppliers
- Interfacing with the OSN team for information related to contractual requirements, plans scheduled to be carried out and coordinated in Taranto, and shipment of materials required for activities
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- More than 3 years of work experience
- Experience in the Defense sector is considered a plus
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools
- Good knowledge of English and/or French
- Work locations: Supply Coordinator/Planner activities in Rome; Program Site Manager activities in Taranto
- Willingness to travel nationally
