The resource will work as Software Systems Engineer to support the development, evolution and governance of complex infologistic systems, with particular reference to the software, architectural and integration aspects of information flows.

The role involves active participation in the project with responsibility for analysis, technical evaluation and verification of the software solutions proposed by suppliers, in order to ensure full compliance with customer requirements, system specifications and quality, safety and performance objectives.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in pursuing the technical, quality and compliance objectives of the infologistic system;
  • Analyze and contribute to the definition of software and system requirements (functional and non-functional);
  • Evaluate the software architectures and application solutions proposed by suppliers, verifying their consistency with customer requirements;
  • Participate in technical project reviews (software/system reviews);
  • Verify the technical consistency of the elaborations with respect to system specifications and reference architectures;
  • Support the integration of the infology system with existing platforms and heterogeneous systems;
  • Support the testing, validation and acceptance of software and system solutions;
  • Manage system and software technical documentation (specifications, architectures, technical evaluation notes, verification reports);
  • Support the Project Manager in technical interface actions with the customer and with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions in complex system programs;
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of Artificial Intelligence;
  • Good knowledge of English (level B2 or higher);
  • Willingness to transfer and/or transfers within the national territory.

Specific skills

  • Logistic support systems (ILS);
  • Knowledge of the principles of Software System Engineering applied to complex systems;
  • Experience in defining and evaluating software architectures (modular, distributed, service-oriented);
  • Knowledge of infologistic systems, data management and information flows;
  • Experience in software integration (API, services, middleware, data exchange);
  • Ability to technically evaluate supplier solutions (trade‑off analysis, impacts on requirements and architecture);
  • Knowledge of IT security, reliability and business continuity issues;
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools and system/software documentation.
