ILS definition and planning
- Prepare technical proposals for logistics aspects in collaboration with other engineering functions, based on the tender specifications;
- Define the technical specifications for the supportability of the primary product;
- Define, starting from the requirements, the ILS supply elements (times, costs, processes);
- Define ILS/ISS program plans and draw up related SOWs for suppliers.
Technical and program management
- Participate in program planning with the Operational Area Manager;
- Ensure the management of the ILS project (RAM T, LSA, HF, LCC) in coordination with the Project Manager;
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation actions.
Interface and governance
- Ensure the technical interface with the Customer for all ILS aspects;
- Prepare and manage Logistics Conferences and Procurement Conferences;
- Monitor performance and validate ILS supplies;
- Check the technical and temporal correspondence of the supplies.
Innovation, Reliability and Supportability
- Ensure the overall consistency of the elements of logistical support;
- Manage the impacts of obsolescence on system supportability;
- Ensure the conduct of reliability growth programs;
- Take charge of the innovation of ILS/ISS processes and the related technological and strategic implications.
