The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the development of data and operation and maintenance documentation for a product in accordance with contractual obligations. They will be responsible for creating the document database structure (LSAR and CSDB) using program tools and databases, and for ensuring it is updated throughout the product's lifecycle as the configuration evolves.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • specifies the LSAR database, defining the applicable data, processes, and tools
  • manages the development of the LSAR database, ensuring the integration of supplier data, supervising and
    guaranteeing its updates throughout the lifecycle
  • defines methods and processes for electronic and non-electronic documentation (IETP, CSDB, AECMA standards), adapting regulations and formats
  • develops production plans for technical manuals and defines their types
  • creates process specifications and those related to the software tools required for technical manuals (databases, browsers, validators, style sheets, etc.)
  • manages the creation and administration of document databases (CSDB), ensuring the integration of supplier data, supervising and guaranteeing their updates throughout the lifecycle
  • ensures the production of technical manuals at the Integrated Ship level
  • monitors the development and delivery of supplier technical manuals
  • validates the first edition of Technical Manuals
  • ensures the updating of Technical Manuals in service.

Specific skills

  • Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge of LSAR databases and S1000D, S3000L, and MIL-HDBK-1388 2B documentation standards

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in shipbuilding programs
  • Proficiency in using LSAR and CSDB tools
  • Knowledge of basic Artificial Intelligence principles
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Willingness to relocate and/or travel domestically.

Compensation & Benefit

  • The gross annual salary for this position will be between €35,000 and €40,000.
