Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, a leading company in naval systems engineering, is looking for a passionate and highly qualified System Engineer to join our Competence Center & Engineering team: a multidisciplinary engineering center of excellence for the development, design, production, integration, delivery, and support of Integrated Naval Military Units.

The successful candidate will work on the design and validation of naval military systems, specifically in one or more of the following domains:

Above-water surveillance sensors (RADAR/EO);
Under-water warfare systems (SONAR/Countermeasures);
Missile systems;
Artillery systems;
Communication systems (e.g., RADIO/SATCOM, HF, UHF, VHF, Telecommunications Management Systems);
Electronic Warfare;
Physical integration;
Multi-domain Unmanned systems

The successful candidate will work on the design and validation of naval military systems, specifically in one or more of the following domains:

Activities and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

Project objective management:

Collaborating with the Project Manager to achieve technical and operational goals;
Adopting established methodologies and tools, ensuring the technical consistency of solutions with project specifications.

Technical verification and integration:

Participating in technical reviews for your areas of expertise;
Collaborate on system integration and testing at supplier sites and on board naval vessels;
Support the process of defining the system's physical and functional requirements.

Documentation and support:

Draft and manage technical documentation, including design specifications, integration plans, and test documentation;
Provide technical support to project management for the evaluation of design changes and quality audits.

Specific skills

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in similar roles
Good command of the English language (B2 level or higher).
Proficiency in using Requirements Management tools (e.g., DOORS) and System Modelling tools (e.g., Rhapsody, CAMEO)
Knowledge of basic Artificial Intelligence principles
Willingness to relocate and/or travel domestically

Compensation & Benefit

The gross annual salary for this position will be between €35,000 and €40,000
